Live piano music from Rowan. The perfect background for your special event

(A professional portable stage piano or keyboard can be provided for venues without a suitable instrument).

• Wedding ceremonies (civil & religious). This includes background music as guests are seated and your 3 chosen pieces to cover the processional, signing of registers and final recessional. Consultation and advice can be provided when selecting music.

• Wedding receptions & breakfasts: This can include music during the arrival of your guests, during the drinks reception & photos and throughout the wedding meal usually up to the speeches. As Rowan can provide a digital piano this can be re-located between rooms to cover the varying aspects of your wedding day. During summer months where appropriate the piano can be setup outdoors.

• Corporate and private functions: special occasions, celebrations, dinner parties, garden parties, birthdays, anniversaries etc.

• With a wide and varied repertoire from 1920's to present day, from classical to jazz standards, Rat Pack to ballads, Rowan will provide an appropriate selection of music required to set the perfect background for your special event or occasion suiting all musical tastes and ages. • Special pieces & requests are always encouraged to personalise your event or special occasion. However, Rowan reserves the right to judge which material to include based on his experience and musical knowledge.

• If your venue does not have a suitable instrument, no problem! Rowan can provide a professional digital piano (Kawai ES6, click here for more info), or keyboard. Setting up takes a matter of minutes. If your event is outside in a marquee or a larger room, Rowan also uses a small amplifier to unobtrusively enhance the piano.
• Rowan is also experienced in playing for themed events including: theatrical shows, cockney evenings, old time music-hall, sing-a-longs and dances.

Area Coverage: Based in Essex, Rowan covers Southern & Eastern England including London and the Home Counties. He will also provide a competitive quote for locations across England & Wales.

Rowan has full Public Liability cover and equipment is PAT approved (Portable Appliance Tested).

Booking Fees & Information: As no two events are ever the same quotes depend on individual booking requirements such as event type, location and whether a piano needs to be supplied. Usually an all-inclusive set price for an event will be quoted. Please call or email to request a quotation or to discuss your requirements- without obligation. All bookings require a minimum deposit of £50 to reserve a date. Full terms and conditions will be supplied when an enquiry is made.
