Rowan offers individual piano and music theory tuition which follows the graded syllabus of the ABRSM, although examinations are by no means obligatory.

Whether you require a home visit (depending on location in Essex), or would like to visit Rowan for lessons (Brentwood, Essex), please call for further information and availability.

Emphasis is placed on fulfilling potential and fun learning, particularly in the early years, whilst adopting a teaching approach tailored to suit the individual.

Rowan teaches children from 6 years upwards and adults of any age. Lessons last half an hour to an hour, depending on age, level and personal requirements. Whether you are a complete beginner, have previous experience, would like to take exams, or would just like to learn for personal satisfaction, Rowan will be happy to teach you.

Other services include individual aural coaching (without piano lessons) e.g. if you require extra support for a graded examination in another instrument, or for a school music exam.
